L’Open Catalunya el 2 i 3 d’abril a Roc 3

 

El 2 i 3 d’abril es jugarà al Pitch & Putt Roc 3 del Baix Llobregat el Xè Open Catalunya de Pitch & Putt.

Fins ara ja han confirmat la inscripció 101 jugadors de la resta d’associacions de la FIPPA. Pels jugadors de la FCPP es garanteixen 35 places.

El 18, 19 i 20 de març es jugarà la fase prèvia on els millors jugadors catalans aconseguiran plaça per poder participar. També tindran plaça directa els guanyadors de:

- Campionat de Catalunya Absolut 2015

- Campionat de Catalunya Matxplay 2015

- Guanyador del Rànquing EPPA 2016

- Guanyador Sènior del Rànquing EPPA 2016

- Guanyadora Femenina del Rànquing EPPA 2016

- Millor classificat del Rànquing Juvenil després de la prova de Badalona.

El Comitè Organitzador de l’Open també ha donat 3 places a jugadors de Roc3 que es definiran per una competició en el propi camp.

Properament es publicarà el cartell de la competició i el Reglament de la competició i la fase prèvia.

 X OPEN CATALONIA INTERNATIONAL

 With the objective of organising a successful International Open which will be celebrated on April 2^nd and 3^th of 2016, at the Pitch & Putt ROC 3 course in the town of Santa Coloma de Cervelló. The Tournament Committee has established a preliminary pre-inscription date of  10^th January 2015 in order to ascertain the approximate number of participants attending the tournament, especially those from other FIPPA associations.  This will allow the organising committee to estimate the potential dimension of the event. The definitive closing date for inscriptions is February  25^th 2016.

Those players, pre-inscribed, will have first preference and will be allocated guaranteed participation assuming they comply with the prerequisite norms applied to the competition.  In case a FIPPA member association exceeds the suggested limit of available places, every effort will be made to accommodate those players in the likely event of vacancies from other FIPPA member organisations.

 

PARTICIPANTS

The initial regulation for inscription are:

10 players per member organisation of FIPPA.

35 players reserved for affiliated playing members of the hosting member FCPP.

20 players reserved on behalf of the organising committee.

The Catalan Federation of Pitch & Putt will determine which Catalan players will have direct placement based on the most recent Catalan championships and the current Ranking League. Subsequent places for local participants will be determined by means of an open qualifying competition, so as to allow all those interested a possibility to attend the Open.  The qualifying competition will be held on the 18^th 19^th  - 20^th  March  2016.

 

The international competition itself will be held on the 2^nd and 3^th April with a total of 144 participants. There will not be a “cut”.

We would suggest that players from abroad should reserve return flights for late on Sunday or for Monday, 4^th  as weather conditions may oblige us to play the final round during the afternoon.   Airport: Barcelona (20 kms from the course).

 

RULES

Norms and regulations in accordance with the rules of FIPPA. The competition format will be determined by the Competition Committee (54 holes – Strokeplay - Scratch)

Inscription: 76 € inclusive of Green fees and lunch (2^nd April), t-shirt polo and FIPPA contribution.

(66€ for players from the Catalan Qualification Rounds.)

Practice rounds (Monday – Thursday):  10 € (18 holes).

We inform players that in accordance with the FIPPA regulation with respect to cash prizes for international Open tournaments, the prizes for the X Catalan Open will be awarded to best classified players in the general category as follows:  

Winner:               500 €

2nd place:           400 €

3rd place:            300 €

4th place:            200 €

5th place:            100 €

Ladies

Winner:               200 €

2nd place:           100 €

Seniors

Winner:               200 €

2nd place:           100 €

In the case of a tie in any of the classifications, the prize for each player will be the result of dividing the respective accumulated prizes among those players with the same result.  A prize winning player may opt to prefer a gift voucher valid for a commercial establishment in Catalonia instead of the cash prize.

With respect to the cash prize, the current fiscal tax retention will be applied;   For non residents the tax imposed will be 19,5%, and for legal residents, 15%.

Players under the age of 18 may only be awarded the gift voucher.

This regulation is intended for players who are registered members of associations affiliated to FIPPA.
